Clean up the world (15 September 2006)

South Kuta Beach Business Association (SKBBA) is organizing within its members to participate in the community-led environmental campaign - Clean up the world - on 15 September 2006 at South Kuta Beach.

“This activity is organized through SKBBA to coincide with the Clean Up the World program to show our support and commitment in keeping our local area as well as the beach cleaned from rubbish, plastic and bottles. We have done of such activity every year to consolidate our togetherness within members and to encourage environment awareness in our effort to clean-up and conserve the environment. The trash bins sponsored by SKBBA have been installed in the last 2 years along the road of Dewi Sartika to keep the area clean,” said Mr. Nyoman Astama, representative of Chairman of SKBBA

This activity is joint by 18 hotels members and attended by around 400 employees to spread from 2 starting points at Kuta beach and Tuban beach with finishing point in front of Discovery shopping mall.

South Kuta Beach Business Association (SKBBA) is an association of hoteliers, restaurateur, and tourist activity operators whose business nature is located in the South Kuta Beach area.
